I purchased the Uppa Baby Vista stroller three months after my daughter was born. We lived in Brooklyn, NY at the time, and loved the all-terrain style of the stroller. It has a large basket underneath that fits a diaper bag (and then some) and it also has a height adjusting push bar, making it perfect for us tall parents to push around without having to bend. We didn't use the stroller much, because it is a much bulkier model than other strollers, and getting it up and down the subway steps was close to impossible without two people. On about the tenth time it was used, (six months after purchasing the stroller,) the front locking wheel mechanism snapped off, and many of the smaller plastic parts snapped off over the following six-month period. Then the foot-rest joint broke, which meant my child's legs could only dangle. When I sent Uppa Baby photos, they were quick to send me a replacement wheel and complete stroller frame.

I had my second child a year later, so the stroller wasn't put to use again until we purchased the rumble seat. By then, my daughters were 6 months and 18 months old. The third time we took both babies out, the two joints that essentially hold the stroller together and upright broke, and the stroller collapsed, in a crosswalk, with both babies inside. Needless to say it was a nightmare. The new frame wasn't even six months old, and had only been used twice before when its faulty design proved it to be an unsafe piece of equipment.

Horrified, we tossed the scraps in the basement and fumed about it as we purchased a second STURDIER stroller (Maclaren). Emails to the Uppa Baby Customer Service department have been in vain. While they apologized for what occurred, they did nothing more than offer us a new frame at cost, WITHOUT WARRANTY. So, after accessories and the cost of the stroller itself, a thousand dollars down the drain.

I will keep this short and sweet..... Love it, very versatile, loved that it had a bassinet, but never used it (son was born in July in AZ, so no walks till he was older) I use it way more than I thought I would, only takes seconds to get out and get set up, not too heavy, easy to get in and out of my suv get a lot of compliments on it, kind of wide wheel base so in stores can be hard, huge basket underneath. Very happy with purchase! Oh and husband and I really liked that it can handle another seat and child eventually!

I love the Vista Stroller. It is so versatile and has been great for us. I have a 3 month old daughter and the bassinet has worked great for her. I debated on what color to get since i was having a girl I didn't know if I should get the Cole/Slate color, but i am so happy that i did. It is a beautiful color and works for either gender.
