It took me a while before I used this product on my carpet. I should have bought two or three boxes because I have a big two story home and I've never used a dry agent before so it takes some getting used to. I think this is a good product and I encourage anyone that perfers dry instead of the wet approach to carpet cleaning to use the Capture Dry Rug Cleaner Kit.

As many others have stated, I was looking for an alternative to my thick carpet being wet for a week after more customary professional carpet cleaning. Based on the reviews, I just used the Capture Kit(purchased at Home Depot)on my rug and it came out clean and dry and ready for my poodle to roll on. No odor and no dampness. I followed the directions on the box which were clear and simple. I stepped out on fate with whatever the ingredients are as they are not specified, something I am usually unwilling to do. The lack of full disclosure regarding contents is why I rated it 4 stars. A great vacuum cleaner is a must for this to work properly. I'll use this product again.

I used it for my living room rug. Doesn't work. It did not do anything for the stains on rug however I purchased for general rug cleaning purposes, not only for stains. Generally, I didn't see any different before and after cleaning. Rug only smells little better after cleaning for next few days.
